Downtown Beeville
Downtown Beeville dates back to the early 1900's and is the seat of Bee County in South Texas. Named a National Main Street City, Downtown Beeville hosts a rich and vibrant history, from the Rialto Theater (1922) to the Bee County Courthouse (1908) - both designed by architect W.C. Stephenson.

Today, Downtown Beeville is a mix of history and new innovative businesses. From restaurants to shops, services or distilling; Downtown Beeville has a little something of intrigue for everyone.
A community initiative from local Coastal Bend College Foundation began the display of painted bees you can spot around the community. Currently there are more than 10 in Downtown alone. Can you find them all? |
The Downtown Co-Op
The Downtown Beeville Co-Op is an independent mutual collaboration of small business owners based in the Downtown district. Together we seek to promote events & attractions that bring people Downtown. In turn, by making Downtown a desirable place in our community, we aim to stimulate economic growth and property development to attain our collective vision of a vibrant and rich part of the community.

The Co-Op is an unofficial organization that welcomes all downtown businesses wishing to participate as members. The Co-Op is not a part of the City of Beeville, Beeville Main Street, or Bee County Chamber of Commerce, however, we often work in partnership with these organizations as we share similar goals and values.
Membership businesses receive promotional support & are included in special events for a modest annual fee. Businesses who are wishing to join can learn more here. |
